"We appreciate your Comments about our beautiful Hawaiian Christmas ornaments."

Casey Judd from Sacramento, California (December 10, 2005)

I am a Kamaaina now living in Sacramento, California, hoping someday to return home. As you likely know, Emgee originally stood for Martha Greenwell, my God mother who created the original company. As a child I was awed by her ornaments, many of which I have and are well over 40 years old. Now, I'm happy to see that someone is carrying on the tradition. Aloha!

Karen Venardos from Maui, Hawaii (December 5, 2005)

Aloha, Anna ... Just wanted to let you know that the package arrived safely today. The manger is absolutely gorgeous, as are all the pieces. The pictures in your brochure don't do them justice. Each different character, plant and vehicle is so cleverly and meticulously crafted. I am amazed and amused. So sweet and uniquely Hawaiian. I think I told you that I first came to love your work at the Emgee Company in the 60s. Later when I moved to Maui, I tried to locate the company and found it had gone out of business. I was so disappointed... But this year I found you again and now my disappointment has turned to joy and nostalgia. This is great whimsical artistry. And I'm loving it!!! Thanx!!!

As I was decorating my tree today and hanging my favorite ornaments (Emgee) which I acquired between 1965 and 1968, I decided to search the internet for the Emgee Corporation. Some friend from Hawaii had told me that they were out of business, so I was just looking for historical data and information. Imagine my delight and surprise to find your site! None of my possessions have given me more pleasure and delight than those ornaments I acquired in Hawaii so many years ago. Now I can continue the collection and pass them on to my grandchildren. Mele Kalikimaka!

I can't believe I found you! I began collecting Emgee ornaments as a child in the early 70's, and have never found any other ornaments I loved as much! I can't begin to tell you how much finding you means to me, and my aunt who I'm positive will also be ordering from you! I am thrilled to have simply found you! Much love for your pieces.

Jen Lobner from Derwood, MD (September 22, 2003)

My sister received the gift – and loves it! She has also passed along the brochure to her friends (actually, they were so impressed they grabbed it before my sister had a chance to look at it!). Hopefully, you will get more orders as a result. She also said the package was beautifully wrapped – the attention to detail was evident even in the wrapping. (I forgot to tell you it was for her birthday – whoops). Thank you so much for your prompt service. It was perfect!

Aloha! Thank you so much for the book. It was like walking down memory lane. After much thought and several times looking at the book I have made my decisions. I am ordering the following ornaments? This will be a great Christmas and thanks to you folks.
Mele Kalikimaka and Hauoli Makahiki Hou!

I had lived in Hawaii for 17 years and had collected many Hawaiian ornaments. Over the years the trail of these ornaments were gone. I can’t tell you how excited I was to see them again and to be able to add to my collections. ChristmasHawaii.com, thanks so much for being on the Internet. You really made my day!

My parents were in the military in Hawaii in mid 1960s and my mom bought a couple of ornaments then and they have become cherished in our family. I wound up marrying a Hawaiian whose parents live on Oahu and visit a couple of times a year. I started collecting your ornaments for my family about 7 years ago, first at Ward Warehouse, then Ala Moana... Last year before the Ala Moana store closed I place a large order for a few hundred dollars to tide me over. And now I have discovered your website. I will be ordering directly from you. Thank you!

When we were stationed in Hawaii we started purchasing Christmas decorations. They have a special meaning to us. I did a search tonight after I came across the catalog while getting my tax papers together. I finally got a hit by searching emgee+hawaii. I have done searches before but tonight I added Hawaii and there you were. You will be hearing from us before the holiday season so that we may again send some of your beautiful decorations to friends and family. I know that I have rattled on but I just wanted to let you know how happy we are that you are carrying on the traditions.

Hello, I was looking at your website and was wondering if you have a retail shop at your location in Waimanalo? We will be visiting Oahu April 30 through May 4, 2002 and would like to purchase some of your ornaments while we are there. Thank you.

Pamela Bush from Maryville, TN (December 29, 2001)

In the 1970's, when I was a teenager living in Hawaii I collected many Hawaiian ornaments. Now that my children are involved in so many activities, I would like to have a few ornaments to remember their activities. Please send me a catalog of your ornaments. Thanks.

Leone Gifford Gilbert, AZ (December 18, 2001)

I am thrilled to find this site. I have several ornaments that I bought at Liberty House in the 1970's. The lady stitching and the Siamese cat in the rocking chair. I also lived on Kwajalein through most of the 1980's and have the Christmas train. I've searched on ebay many times without luck. I'm delighted to see you in business.

During the 70's (71-80) I spent a lot of time at the Subase, Pearl Harbor. I worked for the Naval Research Lab in DC and over about nine years made many, many trips to Pearl. Each year we get out our Hawaiian ornaments and put them on our tree. We get so many nice comments about these and people ask where did they come from. So, it's nice to see that they are still out there produced by your company. Those ornaments were so well done and know you are carrying on those traditions of quality workmanship. Have a nice holiday. .

Hello, I am interested in possibly buying 4 Hawaii ornaments. I would like to know something about "personalizing". We were in Maui this past summer and I was wondering if I select an ornament to buy can I have the words "Maui" and "2001" put somewhere on the ornament? Thank you.

Carol Williams (July 21, 2001)

I want to start by letting you know that I love your work. I am definitely going to order some of the ornaments for myself & as gifts for some of my friends & loved ones. My mother sent my sister & me as a Christmas present & she also bought us basketball tickets to the Rainbow Classics because our Arkansas Razorbacks were there playing in the tournament. It was truly a wonderful vacation that I will treasure always but mostly because all the Hawaiian's that I met were so extremely nice to us. Thank you.

Karen Hatchik (June 25, 2001)

I have been looking all over for you! I missed a couple of years ordering and then couldn't find you! I even had my daughter look for you when she came to Hawaii on her honeymoon. Anyway, I am so happy I found you! Now I can begin ordering some ornaments for my daughter’s trees! Thank you.

Peter (June 15, 2001)

I just wanted to let you know that I received the ornaments that I had ordered, and they are great! They have so much detail and are very carefully crafted. I can't wait to see them on the tree! Thank you again for your help.
